"I could've missed the pain, but I'd had to have missed the dance." I have been through so much pain losing my Precious Andy to suicide, but like the song says, I cherish my time with him on earth (The Dance), & can't wait to be with him again...I am so BLESSED to be "His" mom!!!

My son,Andrew Jason Gausepohl,(Andy), made me laugh for 15
years, almost nonstop! He was an amazing comedian, the more
he could make you laugh and embarrass you in public,(and make
others laugh too), the better! He could turn anything into a joke,  
and did. He was my "partner in pranks" and taught me how to 
laugh at myself. We laughed and lived a lifetime in our 15 years
together!!!
He was an incredible athlete,he won back-to-back county
football championships. He could run so fast, stop on a dime,
throw for a mile, and catch with his eyes closed. He and his 
brother,Jordan, played on the same team the last 2 years, and
did what they said they would, bring home the championship
trophies! They were unstoppable together, they spent years
everyday practicing plays and throws and routes together.
They are both so talented, and love the game so much, it was
great to watch them play! The team last year, early on in the 
season, gave them the names A-train and J-train. And they
loved it.
He was a BEAUTIFUL,SWEET,INTELLIGENT,CREATIVE,
VERY FUNNY,and CARING boy, and GOD BLESSED ME WITH
HIM!!!!!

He came to me on THANKSGIVING morning in 1990,and filled my life with beauty,humor,and love coming from his heart of gold,for 15 years,until Jan.18,2006,when he left to play for the SAINTS in the HEAVEN-BOWL! I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on again someday,Andy-Pie,I LOVE YOU SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My baby boy and me:

It's three a.m.,they're all asleep,

and no one's here to see.

As we rock slowly back and forth,

My baby boy and me.


His little hand is feather light

Tucked up against my chin.

I hold his tiny hand in mine,

and stroke his baby skin.



The house about us creaks and groans

The clock hands creep around.

He snuggles closer to me still,

And makes his baby sounds.


I love these quiet hours so much

And cherish every one.

All too soon he'll be grown up,

His need for mama gone.

But until then I still have time

when people look he announces he's going

to file a complaint at customer service 

because people are looking at him!
